If you don't have a Cricut type machine then you have probably seen these at Dollar Tree and walked right by. Basically this is just Contact Paper and can be used for so much more then Cricut Projects Note: Sometimes this stuff isn't very sticky (which is a nightmare for Cricut users) but you can use Mod Podge to help it adhere.

These are the Dollar Tree stackable dice. There are 2 different kinds of dice. These were found in the auto section. You get 4 of them for the $1.25 but they are smaller and don't have the rounded edges. The larger ones with the rounded edges are usually in the toy section.

Cheaper to make than a card !!
Combining Dollar Tree signs is a great way to make them over into something cute. This was the slated wooden heart and the wooden pick up truck. I painted them then used watered down black paint and a rag to distress them.
Valentine Animals
I found these Microfiber Screen Cleaners at Dollar Tree. They are kind of like a mitten without the thumb. I simply stuffed them with polyfill and glued a felt circle on the bottom to close it up. Simple, Easy, 5 minute puppy dog, The chalkboard heart is also a DT find. I used the Cricut for the letters but a paint pen would work too.

I found this on Amazon you get 20 pcs of Faux Fur PLUS 40 pcs of the wooden balls for $16. (This may be a sale price, but I don't think the regular price is much more, maybe a couple dollars ??) There are a couple of different options for the colors of the fur. The fur is nice and long. Depending on the size of your puppies or gnomes you will get SEVERAL out of every sheet. Several of the wooden balls are small but I like them for eyes and hands. It's a good way to try work with fur if you haven't tried it yet. Hobby Lobby's Faux Fur Sheets are $3 EACH x20, this is a pretty good deal.

Puppy Love Valentines Tree
I made smaller versions of the fur puppy to use as decorations for this Dollar Tree Tabletop Tree.
I used The Cricut to add words and puppy paws to plain wooden hearts.
I found both the large bucket I used as a base and these small buckets at Dollar Tree. I filled the small buckets with pieces of felt to make it look like dog food.
The bones are made with HTV vinyl on felt

Pretty In Pink
This was a Dollar Tree Valentines sign that needed a makeover. I removed the tinseled wire covering it to find a teddy bear form with tabs to keep the tinsel in place. I replaced the tinsel with chunky yarn, yea there was a struggle maybe next time thinner yarn. Then just added some accents.

This is a cute gift set or bathroom decoration. The sponge, loofa, beads and hearts are from Dollar Tree. The gnome is a prescription bottle gnome with cute tennis shoes

Chocolate Tiered Tray
The Chocolate Tiered Tray is made of several components. I 've tried to give instructions or step by step tutorials on all of them, so can pick and choose which ones you like. Don't like gnomes ? (Yea Right) But if you don't leave them off and you have a cute chocolate tray. Don't want the chocolate waterfall ? There again leave it off, like the backside of this one.

Gnomes
I used small prescription bottle gnomes. These are great by themselves, but I like them when I want to add more then 1 gnome to a project. They don't have to be covered in chocolate :D
Brownies
These are made from styrofoam. I used the round disk styrofoam you can get at Dollar Tree. It's the perfect width. I cut them into squares and painted them brown. The icing is hot glue I drizzled over the top. Go around the perimeter and then fill in. Turn the brownie so it fills in evenly. When the glue sets, paint it brown and when that dries cover it with Gloss Mod Podge.
Cake Pops
I used round styrofoam balls, painted them browm, drizzled hot glue over them, painted the drizzle and used gloss Mod Podge over all.
Bon Bons
I used round styrofoam balls, painted them browm, then used Gloss Mod Podge and covered with crystal glitter
Marshmallows
I used Air Dry Clay and just shaped them by hand. Painted them Matte White,
Chocolates
I used Hot Glue in molds to make the chocolates. Simply fill them with hot glue and pop them out approximately 20 minutes later. I painted them with acryllic paint. Let the first coat dry thoroughly and it will act as a primer. Don't try to paint a 2nd coat before it is completely dry or it may pull the paint up. Seal with Mod Podge when finished.
Add a magnet to your hot glue in the molds to make refrigerator magnets. Make sure the side that draws to metal is up.

Cereal Boxes
I covered a cereal box with red paper and added some black squares to make the building. Printed and Cut Out the Spiderman Clipart and glued it on. I used white yarn for the webbing but it probably would look better with the fake webbing you can get at Halloween
Spiderman
It doesn't get easier then this. Simply wrap/cover a cereal box with paper (ie Wrapping Paper, Construction Paper, whatever you have on hand) Cut a slot in the box for a place to drop the cards. Print off one of the PDF Files and glue it on.
Pop Bottles
I cut the spout off a 2 liter pop bottle and painted it white, then added some felt to make this BEARY cute Valentine Holder. I did use popsicle sticks in the back to help support the bear. These can be painted brown to conceal them.
Cut a hole in the back of any decorated pop bottle to hold your Valentines. More Ideas on the Pop Bottle Fun Page

Valentines Monsters
These Valentines Monsters are made from prescription bottles, the tutorial is based on the prescription bottle HOWEVER they can be made from ANY bottle or container. Use longer yarn and more bundles and cover a Tootsie Roll Bank or one of those M&M Candy Tubes. Turn them upside down and leave the bottom uncovered so you can still get to the candy.
The tutorial is also just for the base, you can decorate them anyway you want. Pom poms, pipe cleaners, felt, googley eyes whatever you have around the house.
Love Bug Cake and Cupcakes
Pipe Cleaners can be inserted into cupcakes if you wrap the bottom with foil making sure to glue foil to pipe cleaner so they don't separate when removing.

Brach's Tiny Conversation Heart Bingo
I've noticed there are a lot of Printable Bingo Games available but most are old and need the old Sweethearts to play. I've made up this new one (2020) that uses the Brach's Candies. You will Need the Tiny Conversation Hearts as both Bingo Markers and for the Caller to use. Determine before play whether the caller will call both sides or just the first side he sees, Brach's Candies are printed on both sides.

The Necco Company, had been producing the "Sweethearts", we all grew up with, since 1901. In 2018 the Necco company declared bankruptcy and sold off their candy brands. The rights to "Sweethearts" was purchased by the Spangler Company that same year. Spangler could not get production set up before Valentine's Day of 2019 but promised these childhood treats would return in 2020 supposedly with new sayings. 2020 I have not found any of these available whether in stores or online.
Brach's has been making a similar product for years. The hearts are embossed with the sayings on both sides rather then printed like our old favorites. Although I find the Brach's flavors a little stronger and not as chalky as the original "Sweethearts",
It's just not the same.Apparently for me Nostalgic Chalky beats Edible.
Heart and Spoon Relay Race
Place two bowls of Conversation Hearts on one side of the room and two empty bowls at the other.
Divide your players into teams.
Each player picks up as many hearts as they can with a spoon and rushes to put them in their teams empty bowl. If they drop any, they can continue to drop off what remains on the spoon BUT they have to go back and pick up whatever they dropped with the spoon and add those to the bowl. Team who empties one bowl into the other first wins.
Fill a Vase with Hearts and add some silk flowers for an easy centerpiece.
Stacking Hearts
Each player tries to stack as many Conversation Hearts as they can within a given time period.
To add more of a challenge have them use chopsticks
Glue Glitter Hearts and Pipe Cleaners to a Conversation Heart. Wrap the bottom of the stem in aluminum foil to insert it into a cupcake. Make sure to actually glue the foil to the stem so when you pull the flower out the foil doesn't stay in the cupcake.

Plastic Eyes, Pom Poms, Chenille Stems (Pipe Cleaners) and other crafty items can be found at the dollar store and can be added to almost any treat. One of my favorites are these Glittered Hearts. More then just table confetti, with a little imagination these have unlimited uses.
Add some Curling Ribbon for hair, Eyes, Pompom nose and some pipe cleaners with glittered hearts to a Tootsie Roll Bank for a Fun Unique Valentine.
Add Faces to Jello cups turned upside down to make these fun Valentine Creatures
Robot Valentine
Cover a juice box with aluminum foil and glue a Jello cup to the top, decorate with pipe cleaners, eyes, glitter hearts and candies.
I tied criss-crossed suckers together with a pipe cleaner and tied both them and a pipe cleaner antennae to the center of a bag of candy, then added the eyes for this butterfly
This little guy is easy to make. Pom Poms, Pipe Cleaner, Eyes and Glitter Hearts. Whether you glue him to a piece of candy or set several around to accent your serving dishes, he'll bring the FUN.
Glue Glitter Hearts around a Tootsie Pop and tie with curling ribbon for a cute flower that could be a treat by itself. Or place several in a small vase for a centerpiece that "Pops".

Use the cookie cutter to notch out other cookies before you bake them so they will interlock.Separate them while baking, so they don't bake together.
Use a toothpick or knife to swirl your icing into a marbled pattern
I Cereal-Sly Love You
Cute for a Special Treat, Just Because or Valentine's Day. I did this in Design Space with text, so it can be personalized. Those without a Cricut did you know you can use a Sharpie Marker to write or draw on a ceramic Dollar Store Mug, Plate or Bowl. When your finished bake for 30 minutes at 350 degrees. You may see a difference in color for colored markers. Not dishwasher safe.
